Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of QF platform to client environments through:
- Ownership of features from requirements elicitation and documentation to solutioning, testing and delivery
- Act as the communication bridge between clients and QF team for project requirement; managing stakeholder communications, status reporting, risks and scope
- Liaise with various functional areas including Business, IT/Engineering,
Audit and Compliance internally and externally
- Prepare supporting documentations in different phases in the project lifecycles
- Engage in consulting exercises with clients to enable identification of their true needs:
- Conduct client requirement workshop or training, if required
- Align the needs of clients with existing platform features; facilitate discussions with UI/UX Design teams, Engineering teams and clients to identify pain points and provide recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders to achieve overall objectives
- Organize feedback from clients and market analysis and feed into a roadmap of features for the QF platform
- Align technology with business strategy and goals by being at the core of all project interactions
- Manage multiple project timelines simultaneously
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner
Experience
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management and/or product management
- Experience in managing client expectation and communications (written/verbal and face to face), strong relationship management skills and ability to effectively influence and lead multiple levels of organization through functional boundaries
- Agile project management experience, strong facilitation skills for eliciting requirement and solutioning across multiple teams
- Documentations skills with experience in writing user stories, business requirement documents and functional specifications documents with focus on content and aesthetics
- The following are preferred skillsets:
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development and automation testing
- Understanding of financial markets including wealth management products and trade flows (such as Funds, ETFs, Stocks)
- Asia Regulatory understanding
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin capability
- Hands on technical experience, SQL, scripting or application development
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to provide strategic insights in delivery and continuous improvement
- Self-starter, hands-on solution provider, passionate problem solver with willingness to adapt and grow in a dynamic environment
- University degree in Information Technology/System, Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
- Language fluency both in English and Japanese for Read/Write and Speak/Listen.
